The first and greatest commandment is to “love God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength” (Matthew 22:37). We can love God because “He first loved us”
(I John 4:19). Our love for God is lived out in worship and in obedience to Him (John 14:15).

The
second greatest commandment is to “love your neighbor as yourself”
(Matthew 22:39). Jesus said, “Love one another. As I have loved you, so
you must love one another” (John 13:34). Our love for people is
lived out in compassionate service, encouraging words, the ministry of
presence, generosity, and sharing the gospel. |
The
great commission that Jesus gave His disciples was “Therefore go and
make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey
everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the
very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20).
